A little about the dream...
My name is Kritika and I am 31 years old and my family has been a Starbucks family for the last 28 years. Yes, I started going to this wonderful establishment when I was just 3 years old and have never turned back since. When I was a child, like most children I wanted to be everything -- an astronaut, a teacher, a doctor -- but my dream job was always to work at Starbucks. Now, at 31 years I still have not achieved that goal but I'm trying something new.
About 12 years ago (October of 2012) I thought about how wonderful it would be to visit every Starbucks in the world or at least the nation. At the time, I thought it impractical and not feasible. Three months later in January, I decided to start making a list of every Starbucks and working towards going to every one in America. At the time, I thought the project would take me much longer but with the help of some very good friends I managed to compile a quick database of locations as of June 22, 2012.
From that day I started this journey. I realize that this seems highly irrational to most people and doesn't seem fun to others at all, but this is a dream I hope to one day finish or die trying. I recognize that there will be some Starbucks that will be closed before I get there and some new ones that will open, but I'm just going to do my best.
